Our Resort boasts over 500 Feathered Friends.

We have in excess of 60 different varieties of exotic waterfowl, supplemented by a range of domesticated waterfowl.Our show poultry range includes Silkies in 5 different colours and Pekins and Frizzles in 14 colours. Sebrights are in Silver-Laced, Citron and Golden. Polish varieties are White-crested Black, White-crested Blue, Splash, Silver-Laced and Chamois. Barbu D'Uccle are Porcelain and Millifleur. Jappies on show are Buff, Golden Birchan, Black, Blue, Porcelain, Mottled, Silver Birchan and White. Pheasants are Red-Gold, Yellow-Gold and Lady Amherst.

We have 17 different types of fancy pigeons in a variety of colours. We have 90 breeding camps/pens and 28 rearing centres.

Many of our feathered friends roam freely throughout the Resort itself and along the embankment of the Keisie River, which flows serenely over and through the rocks of the miniature waterfalls. There are seven fountains located in the river where waterfowl frolic.

Many of the breeding camps are located on the river embankment. Posters of our Feathered Friends are for sale at the office. Swing benches and outdoor furniture are located strategically along the water's edge, where guests spend much time admiring the antics of the birds, especially at feeding times. Feeding times are daily during the week at 08h00 and again at 16h00, on Fridays at 08h00 and at 15h00 and during school holidays, public holidays and weekends at 10h00 and again at 16h00. When the whistle is blown, to indicate the start of feeding time, all birds, resident and wild, fall out of the skies to enjoy their free meal.

Surplus stock is offered to the public for sale. We are the largest distributors of waterfowl and show poultry in the Western Cape.
